Swimming pool deck- Concrete pool deck- swimming pool caulking.Many pools when built have been left unfinished for many years. There is often a 1/2" to 1" gap between the pool coping stone and the decking around the pool. This gap allows water to enter behind the coping stone which, during the winter months, can freeze and expand causing damage to coping stones, tiles, beam and/or decking .This gap should have been caulked with a flexible sealing caulk.
